Jamiesons proud to pledge their support to an inspirational young sportsman

We are delighted to announce that we have pledged support and sponsorship to an inspirational young sportsman, Macaulay Neill (aka Macca), who will soon be jetting off to Thailand to train with some of the world’s elite Muay Thai fighters.

Read on to hear what Macaulay has to say about his sporting pursuits and aspirations:

“I’ve been competing across the UK in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with the support and great coaching of Portsmouth Muay Thai & Gorilla Grapplers. I’m undefeated in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with 18 wins (17 by submission), and I’m proud to say that in 2023 I earned my green belt (the highest available for under-16s), which was a huge achievement after many hours of training.”

“However, my true love lies in the art of Muay Thai, where I still have much to learn. So, after successfully completing my GCSEs, I’ve decided to follow my passion and take a year out to focus on developing my technique and knowledge in Muay Thai.“

“I was fortunate to discuss my passion with Jamie Hill (Director of Jamieson Ltd), who has supported me by providing sponsorship that will allow me to take my training to the next level in Thailand. This is where I will spend four weeks being coached by the very best ‘Golden Era’ Muay Thai fighters!“
