People often ask what we do – and the truth is, there’s no single answer. But it’s not because we don’t do much (quite the opposite!). It’s because we don’t believe in setting limitations.

With time, we’ve carefully built a team of engineering experts with specialist skills in a wide selection of areas, allowing us to say yes to as many projects as possible.

Most of our work takes places in high-specification, clean manufacturing environments, particularly the health, beauty and pharmaceutical sectors, but our offering varies widely from electrical services and steel fabrication to mechanical infrastructure, building construction/refurbishment and more.
 
We strive to create ‘better spaces’; those that truly make an impact and help our clients fulfil their own ambitions. And we’re trusted to do this time and time again for large-scale, high-stakes projects that would otherwise require numerous suppliers and a lengthier contracting process.
 
We recently wrapped up a substantial piece of work that did just that – a £2.5 million renovation of a large manufacturing building, with a warehouse and multiple offices. Here’s a look at how we approached it:
 
Survey and design
Before we dive into the ‘doing’, we always take the time to create a range of intuitive designs and surveys that help us get the lay of the land. It also gives our client a full overview of our plans, ensuring they feel aligned, confident and fully on board.
 
For this project, we started with some draft design sketches that we converted into realistic visuals to bring the ideas to life for our client:

 
We then completed LiDAR scanning, 3D modelling, layout design drawings and bespoke scans that show the final project ‘as built’:
 
 
Finally, a clash detection check was undertaken to ensure there were no conflicts in the finished model, as well as a final mapping of the client’s existing services in accordance with the proposed new services:
 
 

Revamping everyday spaces
It’s important to continually monitor and update spaces we rely on every day – and for this client, they needed better toilet facilities to meet growing demand. Our team not only redesigned the entire layout to fit new capacity requirements, but also stripped out and rebuilt certain areas. 

The space went from something restrictive to a far more free-flowing, accessible space that suits everyone. In a similar vein, we extensively redesigned their locker rooms to encompass all personal facilities. 


 
Key compliance upgrades
A lot of our work isn’t done for aesthetic improvements, or even to meet a new business need – sometimes it’s simply crucial for updated compliance. In this project, it was imperative that we incorporated new features for fire safety, electrical regulations and water ingress on the roof.

 
Ventilation
For many businesses, effective ventilation is essential for safe operations, especially when machinery is in use. And it’s not just about installing it correctly – the ventilation used must be long-lasting and reliable. For this project, we installed a range of intricate, effective ventilation systems for both interior and exterior spaces.

 
Decoration
