Worthing Energy Centre

Partnering with key industries who are equally invested in working towards the improvement of infrastructure to better serve our community is integral to our work. Hence the pride we gain from playing an active and crucial role in ensuring essential community projects reach completion.

Still, there are some projects that really light our fire, such as our recent involvement in a brand-new, state-of–the art energy centre in Worthing. Without drawing on too many puns, this project has given us the chance to inject some “Jamieson’s’ style-fuel” into what is essentially, a multi-industry collaboration.

Spearheaded by Worthing Borough Council, the aim is for the energy centre to connect every building in town by 2050.

As Lord Callanan, Minister for Energy Efficiency and Green Finance stated at the start of the project:

“Ambitious projects like this in Worthing are why the UK is a world leader when it comes to reducing carbon emissions.”
